This last week my parents could come visit me here in Romania. On their way to Lupeni, they took the same route that I did when I flew in. They stopped to see the Peles Castle, Bran Castle, and the Fagaras Citadel. They got to experience a lot of the same historical sites that I got to experience while I have been here. It has become great memories and bounding moments to talk about places that we loved to experience and see while we were all in Romania. While I was with them, we went on a day trip to Sibiu and a trip to the Corvin Castle in Hunedoara. They are both so beautiful and so glad that it was places that my parents could explore with me.

I also really enjoyed getting to show them around Lupeni and the opportunity for them to meet lots of people that have been influential to me on this trip. They got to see and experience my favorite places and to experience the culture and beauty of this country in autumn. One of my favorite parts of them coming was getting to meet my host family. It was great for them to meet the family that has been loving and caring for me while I have been adjusting to a new country and culture. I am so thankful to have been able to share some of these life-changing and influential moments in my life and to have made many more amazing memories with my parents.
