New Horizons is passionate about outdoor education and activities—and combining these with community and economic development. Thus, part or most of your time in Romania can involve community development through ecotourism but especially in terms of outdoor/nature sports. The Jiu Valley, a coal-mining valley in economic freefall, has tremendous untapped potential in this direction!
We have many opportunities from infrastructure development such as trail-building, to working with young people to teach them life-skills.
